Aquabest Skibaan is perhaps Aquabest most beautiful dive site. Schools of fish hide in the shallows and the beautifully excavated bottom is full of gullies, crevices and walls. But beware! Diving is only possible when Cablepark Aquabest is not in operation. Dive among the beautiful green zones, the deep gullies, the impressive gorges and the high walls. Choose a day with good visibility for the best experience. Dive south along the east bank and back. Chances are you'll experience this alone with your buddy. Variable visibility and paid parking.
Particulars
Aquabest Skibaan is accessible via the main entrance. Drive toward the north shore, park at Cablepark Aquabest and walk to the shore. You can enter the water via a jetty or steps. Strandpark Aquabest is closed in cool weather but you can walk through to dive. The bottom slopes gradually from the shore to 5 meters and then quickly gets deeper. Bring your dive light to look for life among the vegetation and clay walls.
Warnings
Don't dive at Aquabest Skibaan on summer days when Cablepark Aquabest is open. Diving only possible in cool weather below 20 degrees. Night diving limited possible, contact Strandpark Aquabest. Be discreet when changing clothes to avoid complaints.
