De Baars Walhoeve is a beautiful dive site in de Oostplas, near the Dutch city of Goirle. Diving takes place in a shallow bowl with a sandy bottom and fish-rich zones along the banks. De Baars Walhoeve has several beautiful biotopes, good visibility, various facilities and a large biodiversity. All the characteristics of a beautiful dive site.
Particulars
Try to park as close as possible to the entry point. Then enter the water from the end of the beach. Then dive into the bowl and between the debris just before the entry point. Avoid the bowl on busy, summer days. From the entry point you can easily cross over to the other side of the lake. There lies a beautiful biotope full of rubble, branches, roots and many species, including pike, roach, eel and carp.
Warnings
De Baars Walhoeve is not very good accessible. It's. difficult to park close to the entry point. Avoid the bowl on busy summer days. Visibility is then limited and you will encounter little life. Sometimes there are many anglers present. Try to consult with them.
