Lekker rustige duik met goed zicht, vooral boven 4 mtr diepte. Grote karper en diverse baarzen tegengekomen. Geen vissers gezien.

Easy dive site

Gat van Cortenoever is a remote dive site between the meadows. The site is worth mentioning for several reasons, but don't expect too much. Gat van Cortenoever is fairly clear and rich in fish and there are not many other interesting dive sites to be found in this area. Do you like carp? Then you're fine. Especially the grass carps, mirror carps and scale carps dominate. You will spot them between the reeds, with here and there schools of small fish and a thick pike.

Particulars

Park at the Gat van Cortenoever on the south bank and enter the water at the small sandy beach between the trees. The bottom slopes down slowly to a depth of about 8 meters. Gat van Cortenoever has no diving objects and there are hardly any walls either. Dive along the reed banks over the hard bottom that partly consists of sandy soil and clay.

Warnings

There is a lot of fishing in Gat van Cortenoever. Beware of lost fishing gear and consult with the anglers before entering the water.
