Easy dive site

Groote Wielen near Rosmalen, also called the Groote Wielenplas, is an easily accessible dive site with a parking lot close to the water. The underwater world consists of sandy bottoms and green areas, where lots of fish can be found. The visibility is reasonable, but it deteriorates very rapidly if you come to close to the bottom.

Particulars

Groote Wielen is easy accasible. Enter the water via the stairs but beware, the steps are very high. Once in the water you have to wade for some time to get to depth. Now dive over the sandy bottom and in the vegetation near the shore to spot fish.

Warnings

Groote Wielen can be busy on summer days. Take care while entering the water, the bottom suddenly drops down. Watch out for unmotorised boats. Always use a diving buoy!
