MILLIGERPLAS WEST
Nederland, Overijssel
Milligerplas West is an interesting dive site with underwater the remains of a prehistoric forest. Dive along the many old trees while shining your lamp between the canopies. The trees lie between 7 and 8 meters and almost reach to the surface. They appear like huge dark shapes during your dive. The branches are covered with freshwater sponges and lost fishing gear. Here and there you'll spot a pike or a carp. Continue your dive along the forest in a southerly direction. In about 30 minutes you'll reach a climbing rack on a sand bank on approximately 3,5 meters. The rack was once moved by divers from Milligerplas East to this location.
