The Rosmalense Plas Vissteiger is a nice dive site for a fun fun dive or night dive in the region. There are several dive sites in Rosmalense Plas. This one is the nicest. Dive among aquatic plants and reed banks in search of pike, perch, carp and schools of whitefish. An interesting habitat lies just before the entry point. It's formed by a number of large trees. The northeast bank is equally interesting. Dive northwest towards dive site, Rosmalense Plas Haven at a depth of 5 meters to discover this area full of fish, crayfish, eels, branches, roots and reeds.
Particulars
The Rosmalense Plas Vissteiger is located on the east side of the Rosmalense plas. Park at the Mariannepad. Follow the footpath to the entry point and enter the water next to the jetty. Just before the jetty are some shallow, concrete slabs you can stand on to prepare yourself. Dive north-east or possibly dive south.
Warnings
Enter the Rosmalense Plas next to the jetty. Don't jump off! Diving is officially allowed, but this is not known to all enforcers. Between 5 and 10 meters are some shallow channels. This can be confusing. Use your compass. Possible anglers present. The south side is the least interesting.
