SITE DE RAPH
Belgie
Diving at Site de Raph is like diving in a snowy underwater world. The 'snow' is in reality a thick layer of white dust that covers the bottom and underwater objects. The most interesting objects are remains of the plant and the old winch of the quarry, on the west side. From the winch you'll reach a number of trees in an easterly direction, also covered with dust. Right through the site runs a long rocky drop-off that slopes down to 30 meters. Site de Raph is managed by diving school EPSM. Reservations must be made in advance by mail. Paid diving.
Particulars
Your dive at Site de Raph begins with a briefing at the closed Career Cosyns, followed by a short trip to the dive spot. Enter Site de Raph via the large floating pontoon on the west shore. Attached to the pontoon is a line that ends at a car wreck and some ruins. These are the remnants of the old mine, including abandoned houses, construction debris and a dilapidated wall, with passages. Everything is buried under a thick layer of white dust.
Warnings
Always book your dive at Site de Raph by mail at diving school ESPM Bruxelles. Paid diving. Only advanced divers with excellent buoyancy. Maximum 30 divers allowed.
