Zegerplas T-Steiger is not as varied as the other two dive sites in the Zegerplas. However, the accessibility is perfect and the location is perfect for course and training purposes. If the north and east sides are characterized by peat walls and underwater objects, this is mainly a dive site for rescue exercises and training. The name is well chosen. The jetty is large, handy and runs in a T-shaped shape.
Particulars
The water of Zegerplas T-Steiger is about 2 meters deep at the entrance. Swim straight foward from the jetty and descend to about 8 meters. You can now dive to the left or right or start your exercises. Ascend to 3 meters when you're finished and return to the exit point.
Warnings
Consult with anglers who are fishing from the jetty. Beware of pleasure boating. Chance of blue algae in sunny periods. Tea-coloured water, bring a diving lamp.
