ANCHOR REEF
Turkey
Anchor Reef, called Çapa Banko in Turkish, lies in front of a large hotel full of holidaymakers. That doesn't make the dive site any less beautiful. Çapa Banko's marine life is diverse and includes groupers and parrotfish. Anchor Reef, as the name suggests, is also known for its anchors. You'll find dozens of them, especially in the shallow parts. Most of them have been lost by boat owners. Dive along Anchor Reef's many rock formations to see what else you can discover. There are also a few amphorae and two millstones to be found.
Particulars
Anchor Reef is accessible from shore or by boat. The site is located off the coast of the Turkish town of Kaş.
