De Beldert is a very popular dive site near Tiel. Underwater you'll find many objects, including a boat and the nose of a Boeing 707. The Beldert is managed by Duikcentrum De Beldert, which is located near the lake. The service at the center is excellent. There are also various facilities available and there are training facilities for technical diving. Paid diving, € 4,00 per diver per day and 42,50 per year.
Particulars
De Beldert is easily accessible. Enter the water from one of the jetties. Then follow the underwater trail to reach the different objects. The Beldert is home to big pike and even sturgeon, see if you can spot them during your dive.
Warnings
De Beldert has a number of house rules that you must follow. Dogs are not allowed on the site and barbecuing is only possible on request. Technical divers make use of a certain entry point. Check opening hours on their website.
