Challenging dive site

Besmi Island, in Turkish Besmi Adası, has a number of beautiful, cascading reefs. These reefs are home to numerous species, such as turtles and barracudas. On the north side of the island are an anchor and a wreck at a depth of 40 metres. Near the wreck you will find 2,000-year-old broken amphorae. Amphorae are large ceramic vases from ancient times.

Particulars

Besmi Adası is located southwest of Kaş. The dive site can be reached by boat.

Warnings

At Besmi Adası, there can be a strong current from the south-east.
