Nido del Águila is a simple dive site near the Spanish town of Calpe, on the south side of the famous Peñón de Ifach rock formation. Follow the rock of the Peñón de Ifach. As you get deeper, you'll find sandy bottoms and large boulders that have fallen down over the years. The varied underwater world of Nido del Águila teems with nudibranchs, gobies, slimefish and more. Other common species are sea bream, moray eels, octopus, conger eels and lobsters. Halfway through your dive, you'll come across the remains of a wrecked wreck.
Particulars
Nido del Águila is located on the south side of the famous Peñón de Ifach. The Peñón de Ifach is an imposing limestone rock formation rising about 332 metres above the Mediterranean Sea, near the coastal town of Calpe. The dive site is easily accessible by boat.
