PREEKHIL 21
Nederland, Zuid Holland
Preekhil is a quiet dive site with an almost 'untouched' underwater world. Dive along the dike to spot oysters, plumose anemones and sea squirt. Preekhil is the only dive site on the north side of Lake Grevelingen and in fact part of the province of Zuid Holland. Visibility may therefore vary from the other dive sites in the lake.
Particulars
Preekhil lies in a remote area where visitors are only allowed form sunrise to sunset. The walk to the entry point is a long one, a boat dive can be an alternative. Preekhil is also know as De Val. Not to be confused with dive site De Val in the Oosterschelde.
Warnings
Slippery and sharp stones at entry point. No tide, but with high winds the current can be strong. Night dives are not possible here.
