Easy dive site
Tres Grottes is one of the most popular dive sites of the Cape Verde Islands. The dive site is located off the coast of the Cape Verde Island, Sal, and consists of three easily accessible caves. Inside the caves is teeming with life. You'll see lobsters, turtles and much more.
Particulars
Tres Grottes can be reached by boat from the pier of Santa maria. Enter the water and swim against the under current over the shallow reef. Descend for a few meters and let the current take you to the three caves. Both on the reef and at the caves you'll find a lot of marine life.
Warnings
There is some current at Tres Grottes. Swim against the current and then with the current, back to the boat. Beware of pleasure cruising. Use a buoy.
