Challenging dive site
Uçanbalık Bankosu means flying fish in Turkish. This nickname refers to a three-engined, Italian bomber the crashed here in the Second World War. The wreck lies between 55 and 71 metres at the south-eastern end of the site. This is therefore a very deep and risky dive suitable only for very experienced divers.

Uçanbalık Bankosu is located southeast of Besmi Island. The dive site is accessible by boat.
Warnings
Uçanbalık Bankosu is only suitable for very experienced divers. Current can be very strong. In some cases, the dive has to be aborted.
