Stukje lopen vanaf de parkeerplaats bij het hondestrandje. Maar leuke duik. Zicht van 0 tot 5 meter niet best. Daaronder prima zicht.

Avondduik, paar palingen gespot. Zicht in begin slecht, op diepte top. Boei meenemen. Brandweer vaarde en oefende vanavond boven ons.

Vogeluitkijk is a dive site in the Zevenhuizerplas with several biotopes and a large biodiversity. All this makes a dive in Vogeluitkijk more than worthwhile. Dive along the extensive canyon area and clear green zones with eels, carp and schools of young fish. Attractions are the large clay walls and of corse the eels. If the nearby dive site Hondenstrand is Eel Alley, then this is Eel City. Long walk from the parking lot. Bring a trolley.
Particulars
Zevenhuizerplas Vogeluitkijk is located near the bird watching location next to dive site Hondenstrand. Prepare your gear at the large platform. Then enter the water to the left of the platform and swim out to deeper water. Straight ahead (southeast) there is a drop-off that slopes to 20 meters. Left (northeast) lies the recommended dive route, with a drop-off at 7 meters at your right and a shallow but fish-rich plant zone on the left. Follow the wall and return through the plant zone at 3 meters. Exit the water to the right of the platform.
Warnings
Zevenhuizerplas Vogeluitkijk is a water sports area. Always use a dive flag or surface buoy. Never dive under overhanging walls, the can be unstable. Long walk from the parking lot. Bring a trolley. Quiet nature reserve bird watching location.
