WEERWATER
Nederland, Flevoland
The Weerwater is a dive site where not much diving takes place. Parking and entering the water at Weerwater are easy. Unfortunately, visibility, underwater nature and marine life are limited. Dive towards the north over the bare sandy bottom till you reach a slope that drops down to 7 meters. On the slope you encounter mussels and the occasional crayfish. The deepest point of the Weerwater is about 9 meters.
Particulars
Enter the Weerwater from the Atlantis beach. The site is shallow at the entry point, making it easy to prepare yourself in the water. Then the bottom slopes gradually. You are diving from the south shore.
Warnings
Weerwater has a water-ski track west of the entry point and a marina on the east.
