FORMIGUES

Dive site Formigues is part of the Formigues Islands. Dive with the rock wall on your right along the beautifully overgrown wall, full of colorful vegetation. Common species in Formigues are snails, crawfish and moray eels. Return to the boat at the foot of the rock, again with the rock your right side. This side is less colorful, However, you may spot scorpion fish, moray eels and hunting barracudas.
Particulars
Formigues can only be reached by boat. The Formigues Islands are located between Palamós and Calella de Palafrugell, opposite Cap de Planes. There is a fixed buoy at the dive site where the boat moors. Descend from the buoy towards the west to about 25 meters.
Warnings
There can be a strong current at Formigues. The site can be crowded in high season.
