MARINELAND
Verenigde Staten, California
Marineland is a popular dive site in California with three different diving areas. The shallow kelp area on the coast is known as The Garden, The 120 reef is located at 120 degrees from the beach. It has more sponges and fish than The Garden and is a good place for beginners. The Point is the highlight of Marineland. You'll find pillars, gorgonians, dozens of species of slugs and many schools of fish.
Particulars
Marineland can be reached from the shore as well as by boat. Enter the water from the boat or walk from the parking lot to the beach. The Point is on your right. This is the most beautiful diving area with lots of kelp and an abundance of marine life, but the access road is narrow and difficult. On your left, at Cobble Beach, lies the remaining part of Marinaland. This area is less beautiful but easier to reach on foot.
Warnings
