PLAYA ABADES
Spanje
Playa Abades is a beautiful dive site in Tenerife with great biodiversity. The octopus is common here, but manta rays and large schools of barracudas also feel at home here. Playa Abades is also a breeding ground for the rare angel shark. The site is located on a quiet bay that is protected and where fishing is not allowed. The good visibility, the slowly sloping bottom and the great variety of life make this a suitable dive site for all levels.
Particulars
Playa Abades is located on the beach in front of a bay. Enter the water and enjoy the rock formations, grass areas and fish. See if you can spot an angel shark too. Worldwide there are still several thousand alive, most of them in this region. There are also small caves along the cliffs full of trumpet fish and shrimps.
Warnings
