Rabo de Asno lies close to the Portuguese Farilhões islands. It's a dive site with caves, cliffs and a large variety of marine life. At least one of the caves is accessible. The cliffs of Rabo de Asno are home to barracudas, lobsters, octopuses groupers, moray eels and snails. Remember to bring a lamp.
Particulars
Rabo de Asno can be reached by boat from the port of Peniche in 45 minutes. Swim along the wall after entering the water, it's completely covered with blue-purple gorgonians. The bottom lies at 30 meters where you'll find the entrance of a large cave, which can simultaneously be visited by multiple divers.
