Secret Beach is a lovely, straightforward dive site. Here you can enjoy lovely, relaxed shore dives with a good chance of spotting small marine life. The underwater world consists of a shallow plateau, a steep wall, crevices and overhangsand a small cave near the beach entrance. Secret Beach is known locally as a great night-dive site. Octopuses, in particular, leave their hiding places at night to hunt.
Particulars
Secret Beach is situated just below the village of Vrbnik on the east coast of the Croatian island of Krk. The dive site is hidden behind a narrow passage between the rocks, from which it takes its name.
Warnings
Secret Beach is a busy dive site, with lots of course participants and trial divers, particularly in July and August. Always check the local weather forecast before you go diving.
