Sideras is a dive site on the Greek island of Samos that is interesting for both beginners and advanced divers. The bottom slopes gradually which makes Sideras also suitable for practicing. The marine life includes schools of small fish, octopuses, moray eels, sponges, starfish, sea urchins, anemones and sea squirts. Sideras is also known for its ancient artifacts.

Particulars

Sideras is a very accessible dive site. You can reach the site by boat or from the beach. There is an asphalt road from Posidonio to the beach. The bottom consists of sand, rocks and areas of sea grass. Most artifacts can be found in the deeper areas.

Warnings

Sadrinas is also used for practicing purposes.
