Turtle Island is a special dive site near the island of Marathonisi in Zakynthos, There is a reason why Marathonisi is called Turtle Island. Not only does the hawksbill turtle lay its eggs at this place, the island itself is also shaped like a turtle. Diving takes place off the coast near the large rock that protrudes above the water. Turtle Island is also home to octopuses, monk seals and lobsters also live here.
