Nine Foot Stake is with a depth of 9 meters very shallow. This makes this location ideal for snorkelers, inexperienced divers and underwater photography. Nine Foot Stake is named after a high stake that once marked the dive site, but was broken by a boat and now lies somewhere on the reef. Many divers make their second dive of the day at Nine Foot Stake. Nine Foot Stake is often combined with the Cayman Salvager.
