Lang geleden dat ik hier geweest was. Hotel heeft veel losgemaakt maar als je goed kijkt valt er nog wel wat te zien.

Zowel links- als rechtsaf bij de instap geen zicht en geen leven. Leuk zo'n hotel! Dit gaat nog jaren duren voor een eventueel herstel.

Zeer goed zicht. Ook aan de noordkant. Bodemstructuur en leven is weg daar. Als het terug komt zal het wel mooi duiken zijn daar!

rechts/ rechtdoor op 5,5m zicht 0,5m. Linksaf gedoken tussen de 2a 4m net redelijk te doen. Ondiep volop volop baars, snoek, snoekbaars.

The Nionplas in North Brabant is a dive site consisting of two basins. They are separated in the middle of the lake by a shallow area. Most diving takes place in the eastern basin, because this is where the entry point and parking area are located. To dive in the western basin, you need to make a scooter dive. Visibility at the Nionplas varies, and the lake has a sandy bottom covered with vegetation and occasional mussel colonies. Most aquatic life can be found along the banks, especially on the eastern side. The Nionplas is known by several alternative names, including Surfplas, Zandput, Put van Raamsdonksveer and Watertoren, referring to the distinctive water tower nearby. The Nionplas is suitable for night dives and, when visibility is good, also for dive training.

At the Nionplas, you enter the water via a small set of steps. Close to this location, there is a second entry point from the grassy bank.
Warnings
There is a lot of fishing at the Nionplas. Many recreational visitors come here on summer days. At night, there is a risk of car break-ins.
