DIVE SITE CLOSED .....! Do you want to experience something unique? And do you want know how cave diving feels, without making a challenging dive? Then this is something for you. Dive into the underground lake and former iron mine of Blaue Lagune. Ascending is possible, so its not really a wreck dive. But, Blaue Lagune is great! All the old materials are still in place as if the mine has just been abandoned. Sign up in time! The dive spot is usually fully booked a year in advance. The lucky ones are taken into the mountain by train to make two dives in one day, with briefing and bratwurst. Paid diving!
Particulars
A cave dive in the Blue Lagoon starts around half past eight. Sign up and take the helmet which will be given to you. Then build up your diving set and take it with you on the train, waiting to depart. After changing clothes and a short briefing, the train will leave for a ride eight hundred meters up into the mountain. Finally, you will have to walk down the mountain for a while to enter the water. Entering further into the mine is only allowed with a guide at an additional cost. This is highly recommended (cave divers only).
