Blue Grotto is a deep cavern in the middle of Florida with lots of fish and freshwater turtles. It's not a cave but an open cavern and therefore suitable for all levels. The water is crystal clear and has a temperature of 23 degrees. The surroundings are beautiful and still unmoved. The vulnerable rock formations are fascinating to see and are still in their original state. Fish live in the cavern and every now and then you see a freshwater turtle.
Particulars
Enter the water from the jetty. All facilities you need can be found in the dive centre at the dive site. Then descend into the cavern and enjoy the beautiful underwater world. The cavern has a deep part and a large shallow plateau. There is no daylight in the deep part, so take a dive lamp with you.
