Erg leuke duik met Albatros diving. Zij hebben ons opgehaald en naar deze duiklocatie gereden. De wind was erg hard, dus niet te dicht aan de kant gedoken. Makkelijke instap via het strandje. Heerlijk vissen kijken met Bart mijn buddy en de dive leader.

Easy dive site

Cala Gat is a nice dive site in Mallorca. The dive site is located on a beautiful, sheltered beach with a dive center and a hotel with dive center nearby. The conditions are comfortable. There is hardly any wind, there is no current and the bay is closed. This makes Cala Gat also an ideal dive site for novice divers. Dive over the sandy bottom with here and there rocks and vegetation.

Particulars

Cala Gat is easily accessible. Walk from the parking lot to the entry point. If it is not crowded you do not have to walk more than 50 meters. Then walk straight from the beach into the water. The bottom slopes down in stages. You'll see lupines, groupers, sea bream and much more.

Warnings

Beware of pleasure boating at Cala Gat. The use of a surface buoy is recommended. Be careful not to hit the rocks due to high swell.
