Blue Magic is one of the most beautiful dive sites on Raja Ampat. The site is home to large pelagic species such as the great ocean mantas, barracudas and several species of reef sharks. The animals come here to feed on the plankton-rich water, after which they let themselves get groomed at one of the cleaning stations. The best diving period is between October and April when the water is rich with plankton. Blue Magic consists of a large pillar that starts at a depth of 7 meters and continues to more than 30 meters. The biodiversity of Raja Ampat is enormous. Besides manta rays, barracudas and reef sharks, you'll also find lots of small life such as seahorses, crabs and nudibranchs.

Dive site Blue Magic is located between Kri Island to the southwest and Waisai Island to the northeast. The site can be reached in half an hour by boat from Port of Sorong on Raja Ampat. Blue Magic is unrecognizable on the surface. Lower yourself into the water to discover the pillar, the reef and the many pelagic species. You'll see the first large schools of fish and cleaning stations in the shallows. The big species are in more deeper water.
