EL PENON

The El Penon is one of the most beautiful and famous dive wrecks in Tenerife. It's an old tugboat that served the port of Santa Cruz for many years and was sunk just off the coast of Tabaiba, Tenerife in 2006. The El Penon lies at depths between 20 and 35 meters. The wreck is 27 meters long and 8 meters wide. The El Penon is in particularly good condition and is a paradise for fish and other marine life.
Particulars
The El Penon can be reached from the shore. The entry point is close to a parking lot and not far from a dive center. Enter the water from the stairway or the ladder. Just in front of the entry point is a tube that leads directly to the wreck of the El Penon. You can enter the wreck, it's specially modified for wreck divers.
Warnings
El Penon lies for a large part deeper than 20 meters and is therefore only suitable for advanced divers. El Penon is located near a small marina.
