Grotta dell'Olio is a beautiful cave diving site in the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve on the Italian island of Sicily. It's one of the most beautiful dive sites off the coast of Palermo. Your dive starts on a sandy bottom and leads through several interesting passages into the cave. Inside are beautiful rock formations, arches and light penetrations. Permanent residents in this unique world are sponges, small crabs and crustaceans. They live in the crevices and cracks of the rock walls. Grotta dell'Olio is a relatively easy dive in an spectacular underwater world. Descending is possible in some parts of the cave.
