Merangis reef is a shallow reef with an abundant of flora and fauna. The dive site offers all options for shallow macro diving in an underwater world full of walls and coral reefs. Merangis reef is home to angler fish, scorpion fish, lionfish, seahorses and nudibranchs. Depending on the season, you may also encounter larger marine life such as turtles, barracudas and tuna.

Merangis reef is located in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park on the island of Pulau Gaya, Borneo, Malaysia. You can reach this site by boat in up to 20 minutes.
