Raglan Reef is the most popular reef dive of the Manacles, a rocky area in Cornwal with several dive sites. Raglan Reef is a very steep rising rock covered with a thick blanket of anemones. Dive along the rock and be amazed by the multitude of species. Biodiversity is enormous. You,ll see sea dahlias, dead man's thumb and an abundance of jewel anemones in all kinds of colors and sizes. Also groupers and blue sharks, some of which can reach a length of 4 meters, are common here.
Particulars
Enter the water from the boat. Raglan Reef starts at 5 meter and continues to 45 meter. It's a dive site with a lot of marine life. Raglan Reef is home to dogfish, John Dory's and monkfish. The striped mullet is also found here.
Warnings
Raglan Reef is located in tidal water. Follow the instructions of the skipper. Strong current, only advanced divers. Beware of boat traffic. Always use an SMB.
