Thau Lagoon is a beautiful, shallow coastal dive site in the south of France's Balaruc-les-Bains. The site has an exceptional biodiversity, including peacock worms, various species of slugs and seahorses. In summer, underwater photographers come to Thau Lagoon every day to take the most beautiful pictures.
Particulars
Thau Lagoon has easy access to the water. Enter the water via the stairs in front of the lighthouse. Be surprised by the abundance of marine life and look for seahorses. Shine with your lamp over the bottom, they are well camouflaged.
Warnings
From April to June the water of Thau Lagoon does not get any warmer than 18 degrees. Visibility varies, take your diving lamp with you.
