Turtle Island is a tiny island north of the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc. It's not more than a fifty meter long sand accretion with some palm trees. Don't expect a tropical reef with colorful coral and crystal clear water. Visibility varies between 5 and 10 meters, the water is cloudy and large marine life is scares. Cover only small distances and concentrate on the small marine life.
Particulars
Turtle Island can be reached by boat. The reef around Turtle Island is shallow and mainly consists of hard corals. Divers start at a depth of 2 meters after which they slowly descend to 9 meters.
Warnings
Turtle Island is a fishing location. Beware of boat traffic and nets.
