Emergence du Ressel is a cave dive site in the Lot district of France in the Occitanie region. Dive along the beautiful rock formations and beautiful passages of this fascinating cave. The first part of the cave is fairly shallow. Then follows a spectacular drop-off that runs down to a depth of 46 meters. Only for experienced cave divers. Deeper than 46 meters only experienced CCR Cave Divers.
Particulars
Emergence du Ressel is located in the river Célé. This is a tributary of the river Lot. Enter the water via a small staircase, which is made of rocks. Then wade 35 meters through the water to the entrance of the cave. Now enter the cave via the guide line. Fish are rare at Emergence du Ressel. Yet you can occasionally spot a roach or a sturgeon. Most of the fish are seen at the entrance.
Warnings
Emergence du Ressel suitable for experienced and inexperienced cave divers. Entrance may not be accessible in case of heavy rainfall. Considerable current in case of rainfall. Do not dive when current in inward direction. Water temperature 14 degrees.
