LA JOLLA
Verenigde Staten, California
La Jolla Cove is San Diego's most popular dive site. The site has several beautiful habitats. Dive over the areas with sea grass, through the kelp forests and past the multiple reefs and caves. The caves are not challenging. They are shallow, spacious and open. La Jolla is also one of the best places in California to dive with sea lions. But that's not all. The site is also home to eels, stingrays, sharks, groupers, moray eels, turtles, squad lobsters and many other species. The best diving period is in the fall, when the water is at its warmst.
Particulars
La Jolla is easily accessible. Park on the promenade and enter the water from the sandy beach. Now dive over the shallow areas of sea grass, lave through the dense kelp forests and explore the various shallow caverns.
