DAVÍÐSGJÁ 112
Iceland
Davíðsgjá could be called the little brother of the world famous dive site, the Silfra Tectonic Fissure. Davíðsgjá is located some distance from this dive site and is definitely worth a visit. As in Silfra, the scenario consists of tectonic plates, breathtaking structures and crystal clear water.
Particulars
Davíðsgjá is accessible only through a diving school. Book a tectonic dive with one of the providers. It's a 300-meters walk to the entry point, where the water is entered via a rocky bank.
Warnings
A dive in Davíðsgjá requires a very good physical condition due to the lang walking in full equipment and the difficult entry. Dry suit required. Guided dive. Display certificate required.
