EL CABRON
Spanje
El Cabron is one of the most beautiful dive sites in Spain. It's located in one of only three marine reserves of the Canary Islands and is considered an area of great ecological value. It's an extensive dive site with a beautiful volcanic underwater world and a great biodiversity. Dive among the many rocks and crevices in search of stingrays, angel sharks, weever, octopuses and large nudibranches.
Particulars
El Cabron has several entry points. You can enter the water from a beach or through coves along the 1 kilometer long rocky coast. Every place is different and surprising. The volcanic bottom composition is unique and attractive. The walls are full of caves, holes, drop-offs and swim throughs. Some caves are big enough to enter and not seldom you'll be surprised by some of the inhabitants. Boat traffic and commercial fishing is not allowed at El Cabron, which is a blessing for both divers and marine life.
Warnings
El Cabron is located in a marine reserve. Dive as always with respect for nature.
