Taurito Reef is a beautiful dive site in Gran Canaria with an abundance of marine life. This is surprising because the dive site is located close to the beach. It's the house reef of dive center Canary Divers and not only loved by sport divers. Snorkelers also like to come here because of the location and the shallow depth of 5 meters.
Particulars
Taurito Reef can be reached from the shore or by boat. In that case you will sail to a deeper part of the reef in about twenty minutes. The underwater scenario consists of boulders, stones and crevices in combination with a flat sandy bottom. Biodiversity is great. You can see trumpet fish, octopuses and much more.
