KAMIONKA PIAST

Kamionka Piast is a marl quarry in the Polish town of Opole. It's one of the most beautiful dive sites in this region, with reasonable visibility and a maximum depth of 15 meters. The bottom is hilly and consists of areas with both sand and vegetation. An underwater course will lead you to an old motorbike, the wreck of a Fiat 126 P, the ruins of a sunken house, a jetty with a mirror, a slide and three platforms, at different depths.
Particulars
Kamionka Piast has two entry points The first one can be reached from the road. This is the easiest one, as you enter in a shallow part of the quarry. The second entry is via a driveway, after which you have to walk a short distance through a forest. Dive along the meters-high walls of the quarry and use the lines of the underwater route to navigate to the objects. The quarry is also very rich in fish. There are roaches, pike, perches, eels, catfish, carp and much more.
Warnings
Kamionka Pias is fairly large. You'll travel considerable distances under water. Mind your air supply.
