KICKER ROCK
Ecuador
Kicker Rock is a phenomenal dive site near the Island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands. The site has, as you would expect from dive sites in this area, incredible biodiversity. Dive along the island's rocky walls while huge schools of fish pass by you. Hammerheads, blacktip reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, Galapagos sharks and sea lions are regular residents, but you'll also see eagle rays and turtles. The island is shaped like a sleeping lion, which is why it's also called Leon Dormido in Spanish. Kicker Rock is one of the most popular dive sites on the Galapagos.
Particulars
Kicker Rock can be reached in about 45 minutes. The boat docks at a massive rock formation looming out of the sea. Get ready for the dive of a lifetime. You can encounter everything you can expect from a dive in the Galapagos Islands. A hunting sea lion, a feeding turtle, a school of hammerhead sharks. You can see it all in one dive.
