LIGHTHOUSE
Indonesië
Lighthouse is a great dive site off the coast of the island of Gili Lawalaut in Komodo National Park. You can expect good visibility, great biodiversity and healthy reefs. Lighthouse is a real drift dive with sometimes strong currents that require some diving experience. White- and blacktip reef sharks are permanent residents and for manta rays this is a popular cleaning station. The name Lighthouse refers to the lighthouse on the island.
Particulars
Lighthouse is located in the north of Komodo Island, on the northeastern tip of the island, Gili Lawalaut. The dive site can be reached with a live-aboard or with a boat trip from Labuan Bajo. Dive into the water and drift over the slowly sloping reef full of rocks, colors and numerous animal species.
Warnings
At The Lighthouse two main streams come together making it difficult to navigate around the rocky peninsula in strong currents.
