SINGLISER SEE
Duitsland
The Singliser See in Borken, Germany, is a former lignite mine that has been developed into a recreational area. The sulfurous water of the Singliser See has an inviting turquoise color. The spot is therefore also called Caribbean Hesse. Visibility is often good but unfortunately there is little marine life to be seen. There are some underwater objects though, such as three diving platforms at different depths and a navigation course.
Particulars
The Singliser See can be entered via a jetty with stairs. Descend into the deep in search of the different objects or some crayfish or insects.
Warnings
There is a lot of surfing in the Singliser. Be careful.
