The Waller Feldmarksee in Bremen is one of the few dive sites in Germany where diving is possible without registration in advance. It's a large excavation with reasonable visibility and plenty of marine life. Apart from a jetty, there are no facilities. The Waller Feldmarksee is suitable for divers of all levels. Pike, perch, roach, carp and catfish are common species.
Particulars
The Waller Feldmarksee is easy accessible. Enter the water via the jetty after a short walk from the parking lot. Underwater you'll encounter lots of vegetation and fish and numerous objects, including a washing machine, car tires and bicycles. Do you want to see the catfish? They usually hide between the branches on the banks.
Warnings
The Waller Feldmarksee is dark below 10 meters. Bring a dive lamp.
