The Grienenbergsee, near Bremen, is a private lake that is not freely accessible to everyone. Only diving and surfing clubs affiliated with the Grienenbergsee Interessengemeinschaft (GSI) have access. Guest divers must contact the clubs, they are allowed to take guests in limited numbers. The lake is divided into a diving and a surfing area. The south side is reserved for divers.
Particulars
Enter the water of the Grienenbergsee from the shore and first concentrate on the shallow areas. These are overgrown with aquatic plants where fish hide. The fauna consists mainly of pike, perch, eels, crabs and mussels. There is also a lot of rubble, a reef and various objects. Furthermore, diving platforms have been sunk at various depths for dive training purposes.

Anyone diving without permission in the Grienenbergsee takes the risk of being reported.
