Punta Loma is a popular dive site in the Punta Loma Provincial Reserve in Argentina. The dive site is best known for its seals. As soon as you are in the water, they pop up to circle around you like playful acrobats. The Punta Loma reserve was established in 1967 and inhabits South America's only permanent sea lion colony.

Particulars

Punta Loma is a provincial reserve just southeast of the city of Puerto Madryn on the coast of Golfo Nuevo. You reach the rugged coast of Punta Loma full of cormorants, sea lions and sometimes even orcas by boat.
