The wreck of the San Andres is one of the best dive sites in Tarifa. San Andres is an old paddle steamer that ran on the reef 150 years ago. It now lies at 30 meters deep along the sloping reef, as a cultural treasure of a bygone age. Only parts visible, you can see parts of the hull beneath a thick layer of vegetation. A dive that will give you great satisfaction.
Particulars
This is a beautiful dive, apart from the wreck of San Andres you will see a lot of marine life, sun fish, napoleon fish, conger eels and turtles are regular visitors. The San Andres is an ideal cleaning station for large pelagic species.
