Sporty dive site

Green Rock is one of Koh Tao’s top dive sites due to its large biodiversity. Green Rock consists of rocks and big boulders full of beautiful caves, crevices and passages. The dive site is also known as a mating ground for triggerfish. Beware of territorial behavior, triggerfish can be very aggressive during the mating season.

Particulars

Green Rock is a boat dive location. The site is only accessible by boat. Usually this is the second dive after a dive at Chumpon Pinnacle.

Warnings

Currents may be strong at times. Watch out for boat traffic. Beware of territorial triggerfish.
